Import from X (Twitter)
Use the X import when recent public posts are useful signals for your interests, opinions, writing style, or public voice.
Import Model
- X import is username-based. It does not use an uploaded X data archive.
- Second Me fetches recent public posts from the selected account.
- Each run is a snapshot. If you import the same account again later, duplicate detection may skip posts that were already imported.
The product window asks for the username and confirms the account before import starts.
What Gets Imported
- Up to the latest 100 public posts from the selected X account.
- Images and links included in those posts when they can be fetched.
What Does Not Get Imported
- A complete historical archive.
- Protected, deleted, or otherwise inaccessible posts.
- Private account data that is not publicly available through the import path.
Notes
- Check the username carefully before starting the import.
- This path is best for public self-expression, not full account backup.
- If you have curated posts into a document or Markdown file, use Batch upload files instead.
